Save me
I'll take care of you
We're doomed
Let's roll

Vehement denial of the inherently gone
Blustering assurances that roll like teardrops
Fervent trust from a trusting soul
Death turns hope turns loss turns faith
Turns to the undeniable and unfathomable -
Forever and ever, amen.
