I'm toast, I thought, as I surveyed the mess that used to be my living room. 20 people coming over for a party in two hours, and not a decoration up. Food not made, house not cleaned - all because my alarm didn't go off, alerting me to the fact that I had company coming. I had slept half the day, and now had what would amount to an impossible amount of time to finish.
